Ethical Path is dedicated to improving conditions in developing countries and aims to achieve this by providing a route to market for fair trade products from communities in the developing world.
Suppliers are therefore of paramount importance to the company.
This might represent a paradox for a sales orientated organization, but the company is not focused on driving down the cost of supplies and neither is it focused on maximising profits.
The business objective of Ethical Path is to pay a fair price to its suppliers to enable development of sustainable communities who are able to fund their own community projects whilst also offering a fair price to our customers.
To achieve company aims Ethical Path devotes significant time and energy to identifying suitable suppliers. Our target is to build long term relationships with communities and organizations to provide the benefits of fair trade goods to our customers and fair trade practices to these communities.
Our aim is that customers will be able to purchase goods from Ethical Path and know that they are providing sustainable benefits to others in the world. In this way communities are able to decide for themselves what their needs are and will be able to fund these aims from their own endeavours. This provides communities with self sufficiency and pride without requiring charity.
